The thermometer reads -26•C or -15•F.

We are some where outside Indianapolis, IN eating our brunch at Denny’s. I am now some 4 hours from home. Let the symptoms of Back-from-Vacation begin showing!

I am sitting on the beach under a starry sky, looking at waves as they gently break on the shore.

What is it with the ocean? You feel so peaceful. Though the ocean and the waves are so random and chaotic yet there is a sense of calmness about it.

I guess I am going to slip in to my philosophical ramblings or maybe atleast this time forget musings and just let my mind calm down.

For a space fan like me the Kennedy Space Center is like a coming to a holy site. I just got done the shuttle launch simulation ride and for person who has seen and heard so many shuttle launches, this was a new experience. Though childish it was a lot of fun. Now off to the shuttle launch facility.

We finally reached Daytona beach, FL and checked into our hotel. It is a nice comfy place and ocean front is a 2 minute walk.

It is time to sleep and get some rest because tommorow the ocean is calling!

5 hours to Daytona, FL. We took an exit to lunch. Weather is just fantastic – 75 F. A far cry from the cold and dull days back in Illinois.

We are staying over night at a hotel just outside the Atlanta International Airport. Time to rest for tommorow’s remaining trip to Florida.
