Twinkle Twinkle little star

This nursery rhyme has always fascinated me and as a child I always wondered what they were! Though I have been always crazy about space and astronomy – it’s only recently that I have actually started sky watching. I bought a pair of binoculars and began diligently decoding the star patterns using sky charts. Last week I borrowed my friend’s telescope but never really got a chance to use the telescope because of bad weather. Yesterday sometime towards midnight I was about to hit the bed and call it a day when I glanced through my bedroom window and I saw the moon shinny brightly in the sky. I promptly stepped outside and pointed the telescope at the moon. The moon is really pretty – you have to see it to appreciate its beauty. I decided to point my camera’s lens into the telescope’s eye piece – here are results of my first attempt to take images of the night sky.

I need to get a camera tripod to prevent the camera shakes. April 2nd is going to be full moon day – You should step outside during the night and take a glance at the full moon.

Better images of the moon can be found -
