I think it is not too late to write about the last Saturday even though the next Saturday is two days away!

Last Saturday was fun. Hari, Sesha and I decided to visit Sesha’s cousin – Shankar at UIUC. We drove to Champaign and reached Shankar’s place around 8:30 pm and we decided to have dinner. We had dinner that this nice Italian Restaurant – The Great Impasta. The restaurant had a nice ambience and service was good. I cannot remember now the names of the dishes we had but I can still remember how well the dishes were presented. It looked straight out of some program on food channel. I thought the serving size was small when compared to the price we paid for the dishes. We finished the dinner with a desert (again cannot remember the name) which had goat cheese.

After dinner we walked over to a bar – Jupiter At the bar we met Shankar’s roommates and we all decided to hang out at the bar. We played pool, drank beer and ate pizza. We were there till the bar closed.

By the time we reached home it was well beyond 2:30 am with just enough energy to crash in to the bed!
